This is a temporary, full-time position. The employer will provide transportation and subsistence from the employee’s place of origin to the worksite and return transportation and subsistence at the end of employment, except when the employee does not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or when the employer has properly reported a voluntary abandonment of employment in accordance with 20 CFR 655.423(j)(1). Receives, stores, and distributes stocks of LPGas, Hardware, hotel and other department’s supplies according to unit needs. Maintains inventory by checking stocks and reordering standard items as required. Ensures proper handling of hazardous materials. Maintain, monitor and control the inventory of supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Industrial Gases, tanks & hardware items. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing ISO Tanks, Industrial gases, and hardware items shipment. Maintains inventory by checking LPG tanks, ISO tanks volume and hardware items. Verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records pertaining to deliveries and shipment. Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged tanks or hardware materials. Ensure that ISO tanks and Industrial gas tanks are in good & safe shipping conditions. May operate a tier-lift truck or use a hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area. Prepare & generate reports of LPG & Industrial gases inventory; ISO Tanks & gas tanks inventory & hardware items; prepare monthly report of supply & inventory documents; Orders receive and store supplies in the warehouse or supply room. Reviews incoming order forms for proper quantities requested, and authorized approvals; inspects and verifies supplies received against invoice and packing slip; initiates requests for vendor corrections. Locates stock and delivers requested items to authorized departments. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms and warehouses; store items in an orderly and accessible manner; examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors; receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer. Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) associated with purchases of chemical products. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Performs clerical duties related to maintaining stock inventories and stockroom; may operate a computer terminal and/or personal computer. Do other related duties as assigned from time to time.
